Former IRON MAIDEN Guitarist In Charity Gig

July 13, 2007

According to the Saffron Walden Reporter, former IRON MAIDEN guitarist Dennis Stratton is among a team of musicians putting on a gig for charity in The Victory in Saffron Walden, England later this month.

The guitar maestro is playing a special gig in the pub's garden on Wednesday July 25 at 7:30 p.m., with fellow musicians Paul Price-Smith, Kase, Tommy Dunn and Fred Harris.

Stratton said: "Last year we held a gig like this in The Victory. It was so successful, we thought we'd do another one this year. In fact, we may well do a series of charity gigs."

The band, which does not usually play together and should produce a sound that blends together many influences, will be playing acoustic sets.

The gig at The Victory on Little Walden Road will start around 7:00 p.m. Entry will be £5 on the door, and all proceeds will go to the St Nicholas Hospice in Bury St Edmunds.
